    • Thank you Patrick for your nice words. I am very lucky to be living in peaceful Norway. I have only just started out this blog and will also post beautiful pictures from Norway that my daughter is taking with her new drone. Peace and Love Eva.

      • Oooo, drone pictures from Norway. That I would love to see. Around here, we have a lot of Norwegians and a few drone, but the landscape is only inspiring if you like corn and beans. But corn and beans can be stunningly beautiful at time.

Love to hear that you are describing the solar system to kids. Tell them about the quite sun (hush, it is going to sleep now for solar cycle 24). Don’t worry, it will wake up in a few years…but brrrr, in the mean time. It is May tomorrow and we still have snow in the ditches.

PS I admire lots of things about Norway. Wonderful people who have been made better by the harsh environment. My only criticism is of Statoil drilling in all sorts of environmentally precious places.

  2. Hi Eva – thank you for following my review blog. It is still very new, only a week old. Until now I’ve been reviewing at Goodreads only. Your book on astronomy looks so wonderful. Kids simply do not have enough interesting science books to read and enjoy! I just finished reading a darling children’s book about gardens but it was a disguise for ecosystems and science. I loved it!
    Cheers,
    Mackey

    • I’m so glad you like my children book The Universe a Work of Art. My blog is new too, only four weeks, but I already have 600 Follow ! How does it work when you do Goodreads reviews, do they send you the books or do you choose? Do you charge to review ? I couldn’t find any info. on your blog so maybe you should add…Greetings from Eva in Norway.

      • What a nice comment. I have a Ph.D. plus four other degrees in German language, literature, culture, history and geography. I was most enchanted with Oslo during my visit to Norway. I’ll have to get back to see more next time. Greetings from Upstate New York.

      • Oh, you are an intelligent girl. Tom Cruise’s new
movie Mission… is coming out now and they have been shooting som of the scenes in Norway. He is climbing the Pulpit Rock, on the westcoast of Norway. So you just have to visit that place next time…

      • How cool that is! In Colorado outside of Pueblo, many Western movies were made in a town built by the motion picture companies. It was called Buckskin Joe which is a fun place to visit. Thank you for your kind comment, Eva. It is a pleasure to have you as a fellow blogger. Much appreciated.
